At Blossomwood Kennel, we are a small family-run breeder dedicated to raising puppies with love, care, and attention every day. Our puppies grow up in a warm, home-based environment where they are socialized, nurtured, and prepared for happy, healthy lives. We focus on quality over quantity, ensuring every puppy is well-adjusted and ready to become a cherished member of their new family. Our goal is to create lasting bonds between families and their dogs—filled with joy, companionship, and wagging tails.
Labradors have played a meaningful role in our journey, providing years of hands-on experience in raising, training, and understanding the day-to-day realities of life with an active, intelligent breed.
Through this experience, we developed a deep appreciation for the importance of temperament, structure, and thoughtful care — lessons that now guide our approach as we establish the foundation of Blossomwood Kennel.
At Blossomwood Kennel, we are committed to the preservation and responsible development of purebred dogs. Our breeding program follows the standards of the Canadian Kennel Club (CKC), and we work only with registered dogs whose pedigrees and health histories can be properly documented.
For this reason, we do not participate in or promote cross-breeding or designer mixes. Maintaining predictable structure, temperament, and health requires careful breed stewardship and responsible breeding practices.
Our experiences across breeds have strengthened our belief that responsible breeding requires patience, continual learning, and a willingness to grow before expanding, Blossomwood Kennel is a more breed preservation focused kennel, and we do not participate in cross-breeding or designer mixes, as our focus is maintaining breed integrity, health transparency, and responsible breeding practices.
We believe breeding carries lifelong responsibility, and we approach each future decision with careful evaluation.
We are open everyday from 10am-6pm excluding Holidays. But our mailbox is always open for any questions, comments or inquires!

Before each pairing, we carefully test out potential parents for any hereditary diseases that may be linked to the breed.
Some tests we run are eyes, heart, hip/elbow screenings at our local vet.
